One more go

I stopped being a fool about submitting my writing for publication, one poem in particular, nearly 2 years ago.

This morning, out of nowhere, I decided to give it another shot. I submitted it to a print publication, The Sun, a favorite of mine from my college days. I usually don't submit to them because I took their preference to not accept simultaneous submissions seriously. Rules are rules, man.

The poem isn't out there any more so it truly it is on its own out there, waiting for an answer from The Sun. I imagine it's a long shot. They publish a lot of known authors, but we'll see. Fingers crossed and legs busting through dry wall. As the saying goes.
